Their risotto is not like the risotto in other restaurants, which is usually very creamy, cheesy, and overwhelming. The risotto here is light yet savoury and makes you want to keep eating until it's gone in no time. This is my favorite risotto so far.

Great restaurant, the pizzoccheri was great and the gnocchi in tomato sauce was heavenly!

My ossobuco was fantastic, and the house wine was reasonably priced and far better than I expected. They also had a spicy olive oil that looked homemade and tasted great. We came thanks to a recommendation from our Airbnb host, and we're very glad we did.

Exceptional!I intended to write this review especially in English for non locals who seek original north italy plates without any cliche additions. The food is homemade with flavors you wouldn’t find anywhere around Como.Portion is more than sufficient. Prices are so reasonable compared to quality and in competition to surrounding restaurants.Highly recommend. 6 stars if exist

Cozy but lively atmosphere. Food is so delicious. Many local specialties including wine and house-made amaro aperitivo. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Good idea to call ahead for a table as they are very busy and popular. Will definitely return here!

A Delightful Dining Experience!I recently had the pleasure of dining at Osteria Dal Pain, and it was an absolute treat. I opted for the polenta, and it was cooked to perfection—rich, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The ambiance of the restaurant was warm and inviting, making it the perfect setting for a relaxed meal. The staff were not only friendly but also incredibly helpful, ensuring that every aspect of my dining experience was enjoyable. From the moment I walked in until I left, I felt well taken care of.Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I look forward to returning soon!

a restaurant with very good food! it is not in the first plan of restaurants on the shore of Lake Como, but it is quite easy to find. The food is based on polenta and is very well balanced. Must try appetizers, pastas and desserts! We will come back with love every time we have the opportunity!

I can say honestly, our last evening in Italy was wonderful with these delicious dishes. We try risotto with cheese, polenta veal osso buco, and milanes cutlet. We choose tiramisu for dessert. All of them delicious. Maybe milanes cutlet could be more juice but enough good. You can try if your looking traditional and good dishes.
